<p>Since a long time ago vineyards and olive trees are cultivated and grown in our territory, from these products real delights are produced: the wine and the olive oil of Euganean Hills.</p><p>Olive oil is certainly a source of proud of this area: we’ll visit an olive oil mill, where the producers will show us the art of olive oil production, and they will guide us while tasting the final product.</p><p>We chose for you, then, one of the best wineries of this area, where you will taste wines paired with local products.</p><p>Here the particular volcanic origin of the soil and the good climate allows the cultivation of various vines. Among the white wines: the Serprino, biotype of the Glera vine, is the “volcanic” version of Prosecco; the Pinot bianco; the Garganega, the Chardonnay and Manzoni. Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmènere have found space among the reds. Spend plenty of time exploring the old town, taking photos at the <strong>panoramic view points</strong>, and dipping your toes into the sparkling water.</p>
<p>Next, we will take a ten minute train ride to <strong>Vernazza</strong>. This old town is still widely used by <strong>local fisherman</strong>, and if you are lucky, you will see them returning from a morning’s work in their tiny boats. The <strong>delightful harbor</strong> feels like a step back in time, where you can enjoy views of the emerald water, <strong>colorful buildings</strong>, and children playing! Take a stroll through the alleyways and <strong>artesanal stores</strong> before heading to the next town.</p>
<p>Your third stop of the day will be <strong>Monterosso</strong>, about ten minutes away by train. This town is most famous for its wide, <strong>white sand beach</strong>. Spend some time relaxing under the sun, swimming in the crystal blue water, and exploring the <strong>old town</strong>. Be sure to try some of the town’s <strong>homemade pesto </strong>before heading to the next town!</p>
<p>We will travel to our last stop of the day, <strong>Riomaggiore</strong>, by <strong>scenic boat ride</strong>. Admire the unique perspective of the high cliffs, blue water, and brightly colored villages from the sea! Feel the breeze on your skin and take plenty of photos until we reach Riomaggiore.</p>
<p>In <strong>Riomaggiore</strong>, enjoy the astonishing, <strong>panoramic views of the village</strong> perched high in the cliffs. As the sun begins to go down, the water will glow gold over the nature port, and the homes will have a special afternoon shine. Spend some time exploring the local streets and shops before heading back to Montecatini.</p>

<p>With this excursion we will allow you to discover the nature of the Euganean Hills, an area of about 19,000 square meters of volcanic hills that rise from the Paduan-Venetian plain a few kilometers south of Venice.</p><p>We will reach the heart of the Euganean Hills by minivan where we will begin the walk on Mount Venda, the highest hill in the Euganean Hills and the only real mountain thanks to its height of over 600 m. Along the Lorenzoni path we will reach the<br></p><p>Benedictine monastery of the Olivetani: medieval monastery dedicated to St. John the Baptist of which the perimeter walls of part of the church, the bell tower and the crypt remain. <p>In the heart of Veneto, discover the excellence of olive growing and wine production in the Euganean Hills.</p><p>Vineyards and olive groves have long been cultivated in our area, and from these products true delicacies are produced: the wine and oil of the Euganean Hills.</p><p>Olive oil is certainly a source of pride for this area: we will visit an oil mill, where the producers will show us the art of olive oil production, and guide us through a tasting of the final product.</p><p>We have then chosen for you, one of the best wineries in this area, where after a visit to the cellar, you will taste the typical wines of the Euganean Hills. Here, the particular volcanic origin of the soil and the favourable climate allow the cultivation of a variety of vines: Serprino, a biotype of the Glera vine, is the 'volcanic' version of Prosecco, but Pinot bianco, Garganega and Chardonnay are also among the most popular whites, not forgetting the presence of Manzoni bianco. The reds include the Bordeaux varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmènere. Between a walk through the vineyards, a visit to the barrel cellar and several wine tastings paired with typical local products, we will listen to the knowledgeable wine growers who will tell us all about the expressions of their best wines.</p><p>Fares available:</p><p>Self-guided tour: transport and accompaniment not provided. The town overlooks the bay of Naples which extends from the Sorrento peninsula to the volcanic area of Phlegrean fields, and the skyline is dominated by the majestic and still active volcano Vesuvius, offering an impressive sight perfect to take stunning pictures. Descending towards the port of Mergellina, you will leave the city and travel south towards Mount Vesuvius and, once you reach the town of Pompeii, you will have lunch with the real Neapolitan pizza! After lunch, you will enter into one of the most important archaeological sites in the world: a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the ruins of Pompeii, with Skip the Line entrance and a guided tour. Through the remains and ruins of this ancient city you will learn how the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD destroyed the city, killing its inhabitants and burying it under tons of ash. The site was lost for about 1,500 years until its initial rediscovery and the objects beneath the city have been well-preserved for centuries. You can walk along the ancient streets for a glimpse into the lives of the Romans, discovering ancient houses, bakeries and shops and imagine the everyday life in the Roman times. At the end of the visit we will return to the coach for our trip back to Rome. </p>
