Here, the particular volcanic origin of the soil and the favourable climate allow the cultivation of a variety of vines: Serprino, a biotype of the Glera vine, is the 'volcanic' version of Prosecco, but Pinot bianco, Garganega and Chardonnay are also among the most popular whites, not forgetting the presence of Manzoni bianco.
