The love for olive growing has accompanied the Garra family's life for four generations. Each member of the family has worked in different professions without ever abandoning this passion that has been handed down for 100 years: from great-grandfather Sante, a bank manager, to grandfather Nello, a gynaecologist and designer of the current olive grove, from father Sante Nicola, a surgeon, to the young Antonello, a law graduate, who has been working with passion since 2014 to bring production to levels of excellence. </p><p>The company spreads over more than 10 hectares in the Mutignano hamlet, an enchanting village on the hill above the tourist town of Pineto. In this portion of land there are almost 2000 olive trees, with an average age of 30 years, of the Leccino, Intosso, Ascolana, Picholine and Bella di Spagna varieties, cultivated according to the canons of integrated agriculture, respecting nature.</p>

<p>Since a long time ago vineyards and olive trees are cultivated and grown in our territory, from these products real delights are produced: the wine and the olive oil of Euganean Hills.</p><p>Olive oil is certainly a source of proud of this area: we’ll visit an olive oil mill, where the producers will show us the art of olive oil production, and they will guide us while tasting the final product.</p><p>We chose for you, then, one of the best wineries of this area, where you will taste wines paired with local products.</p><p>Here the particular volcanic origin of the soil and the good climate allows the cultivation of various vines. Among the white wines: the Serprino, biotype of the Glera vine, is the “volcanic” version of Prosecco; the Pinot bianco; the Garganega, the Chardonnay and Manzoni. Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmènere have found space among the reds. A Journey into Wine’s Tastes and Aromas
Tasting of four (organic) wines. We guide you to discover, recognize and find the distinctive fruit and spices bouquets in each wine.
<p>The experience starts with a visit and walk through the vineyard.</p>
<p>You’ll then go on with the tasting of four wines we produce.</p>
<p>You’ll be invited to <strong>smell the perfume</strong> of some<strong> spices, herbs and fresh fruit,</strong> that will guide you in recognizing, learning and <strong>finding the distinctive aromas of each wine.</strong></p>
<p><strong>The wines to taste are:</strong></p>
<ul><li>Bardolino, a young red wine from local vines</li><li>Bardolino Chiaretto, a roseé wine with a unique crispness</li><li>Garganega, a white wine with mineral aromas</li><li>Brol Grande, Bardolino Classico, a single vineyard red wine, aged in concrete tanks</li></ul>
