Here the particular volcanic origin of the soil and the good climate allow the cultivation of various grape varieties. Later this dough is handed down in Roman times, until it followed in the eras to follow and knew its international fame with the "Pizza Margherita" dedicated to Queen Magherita in 1889. </p><p>It was from that time that Neapolitan pizza became known throughout the world and became "the gold of Naples."
