<p>The Euganean Hills wine-tasting tour will take you on a discovery of this group of hills of volcanic origin that rise to heights of 300 to 600 m from the Paduan-Venetian plain a few kilometres south of Venice.</p><p>You will therefore enter the heart of the Euganean Hills Regional Park to discover, thanks to a visit to two renowned wine cellars in the Euganean area, the best wine production in the area.</p><p>In the Euganean lands, in fact, the particular volcanic origin of the soil and the good climate allow the cultivation of various grape varieties. White wines include Serprino (a biotype of the Glera vine), which we can say is the 'volcanic' version of Prosecco; Pinot bianco; Garganega, Chardonnay and finally Manzoni. Vineyards and olive groves have long been cultivated in our area, and from these products true delicacies are produced: the wine and oil of the Euganean Hills.</p><p>Olive oil is certainly a source of pride for this area: we will visit an oil mill, where the producers will show us the art of olive oil production, and guide us through a tasting of the final product. We have then chosen for you, one of the best wineries in this area, where after a visit to the cellar, you will taste the typical wines of the Euganean Hills. Here, the particular volcanic origin of the soil and the favourable climate allow the cultivation of a variety of vines: Serprino, a biotype of the Glera vine, is the 'volcanic' version of Prosecco, but Pinot bianco, Garganega and Chardonnay are also among the most popular whites, not forgetting the presence of Manzoni bianco. The reds include the Bordeaux varieties Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Carmènere. Between a walk through the vineyards, a visit to the barrel cellar and several wine tastings paired with typical local products, we will listen to the knowledgeable wine growers who will tell us all about the expressions of their best wines.<br></p>

The day ends with a visit to a <strong>family-managed wine estate</strong> where we will indulge in a <strong>light meal </strong>made from regional produce paired with famous<strong> Chianti Classico wines</strong>.<br />You will meet your English-speaking, <strong>official tour guide</strong> and fellow travellers at Siena railway station early in the morning. Board the coach which will take you to the Chianti: here the <strong>bike riding adventure </strong>begins. However, before we begin riding, you will be given a chance to familiarise yourself with the <strong>e-bikes </strong>and equipment. Technology has certainly made it easier to bike in this world-famous cyclists' paradise. You can adjust your bike's setting to the difficulty level you would prefer, depending on whether you would like the bike to do most of the work or whether you would prefer the exercise yourself. Fitted with silent motors, these e-bikes allow you to <strong>experience the sights, sounds and peace of the Tuscan landscape</strong>. We will cycle along <strong>quiet back roads</strong> for 20 km, far away from the hustle and bustle of traffic. We will explore the <strong>winery's vineyards and cellars</strong>, and find out how wine is produced here. After a very physical day, we will sit down to platters of <strong>delicious local fare</strong>, <strong>olive oil</strong> and the <strong>farm's very own wine</strong>.
