The young master goldsmith Mattia inherited his passion from his father, who began studying at the age of 11 first in Piedmont in Valenza, the capital of high jewellery, and then returned to Sardinia and continued his studies in Cagliari with the highest exponents of Sardinian filigree, until in 1965 he opened his first workshop in Dorgali, his home town.Mattia took over in 1986 when, at the age of 6, he joined the family business as a helper to his father who was to be his teacher. Program:- Day 1: Students are met at the diving site at 3 p.m. where they are registered for the PADI course and given manuals and teaching aids. Then participate in the first theory lesson with an introduction to the use of diving equipment and the first rules of behavior.- Day 2: Meet with the instructor at 9:00 a.m. for the first two practice modules of 20 minutes each with a boat outing. At the first practice lesson, scuba equipment, including the ARA rebreather, is provided; we then reach the site of the first dive where the students will perform the first exercises such as knowing how to put on scuba equipment, breathing, compensating mask and eardrums, emptying the mask from possible water ingress, taking off and putting back the regulator in the mouth among other things. In the afternoon by 3 p.m., the second theory session will be held.- Day 3: Meeting at 9:00 a.m. to go out to sea in a dinghy for the third and fourth practical modules with diving to a depth of 18 meters. In the afternoon by 3:00 pm third theory session will be held.- Day 4: In the morning at 9:00 a.m. we will go out to sea for the last practice module, at the end of which the course will be concluded and there will be the delivery of certificates.

During your excursion, the guide will show you the territory from a biological and geo-morphological point of view and you will walk in a rocky landscape of porphyry and schist. You will test your balance in crossing the river from one bank to the other by walking on the pebble bottom or by jumping between the rocks. At a certain point of the itinerary you will enter the midst of luxuriant woodland vegetation, but then you will continue along the rocky path and arrive at the marvelous Rio 'e Forru waterfalls surrounded by Jurassic walls. Here you will regain your energy and then go back on the same path.
